netarsudil/latanoprost — Definition

Netarsudil/latanoprost; the combination of Netarsudil and latanoprost is an ophthalmic drug used to lower intraocular pressure. Netarsudil increases the drainage of the trabecular network as Rho kinase inhibitor, while latanoprost increases a prostaglandin analog, while latanoprost increases drainage from the uveoskleral road. This synergistic effect is preferred especially in the treatment of open angle deficiency or ocular hypertension. The combination provides more effective pressure control in patients who do not respond to agents used alone.
