Ancylostoma is a intestinal parasite infection caused by duodenale or Necator americanus type hookworms. Larvaes often enter the body through the skin from the soil, which is in contact with the naked foot and settled in the fine intestine by passing through the lungs. Iron deficiency anemia, abdominal pain and fatigue occurs in the intestinal mucosa in chronic infections. Antiparasitic drugs such as albendazole or mebendazole are used in treatment.
