Ön segment mezankimal displazisi; the mezankimal tissue that forms the front segment of the eye (cornea, iris, lens and front wedge) is a group of congenital anomalies that appear as a result of disorder in embryonic development. This condition is characterized by various clinical findings such as corneal opacity, iridokorneal adesions and ve. The disease contains different subtypes, such as Axenfeld-Rieger syndrome and Peters anomaly, and usually shows autosomal inheritance. Early diagnosis and treatment have critical importance to prevent vision loss.
