Bamlanivimab is a monoclonal antibody drug used in the treatment of COVID-19 disease. SARS-CoV-2 prevents the virus from entering human cells by binding to the spike protein of the virus. In case of COVID-19 cases of mild to medium violence, it has taken emergency use permission to reduce the risk of hospitalization and serious complications especially in high-risk patients. Usually the single dose is applied in the form of intravenous infusion.
