Yarık dudak-damak-ektodermal displazi sendromu / cleft lip-palate-ectodermal dysplasia syndrome
A rare genetic disease where additionaltodermal dysplasia findings (normalities in hair, nails, teeth and sweat glands) are seen in conjunction with the lips and/or palate. Otozomal can show a dominant or resesif inheritance. In the clinical picture, percentage marked slits, rare hair, abnormal nail structure and tooth deficiencies are in the forefront. Diagnosis, clinical findings and genetic tests; treatment requires multidisciplinary approach.
