familial cutaneous telangiectasia and oropharyngeal predisposition cancer syndrome — Definition

Ailesel kutanöz telenjiektazi ve orofaringeal yatkınlık kanser sendromu; this syndrome is a rare genetic disease characterized by a predisposition to the development of cancer in the skin of pronounced telenectosis (mixed vascular expansions) and orofaringeal region. Otozomal shows dominant inheritance and often occurs in adult ages. Telenjiektasias are often seen in the face, lips and mouth mucosa, the risk of cancer is particularly increased in the area of tongue, tonsils and swallows. Early diagnosis and regular oncological monitoring have critical importance in the management of the disease.
