Femur fibula ulna syndrome — Definition

Femur fibula ulna sendromu; femur fibula ulna syndrome is a rare congenital anomalies, characterized by congenital deficiency or absence in long bones such as femur (community bone), fibula (baldir bone) and ulna (fat bone). This syndrome is often seen individually and contains ulna defect in the upper limbs with femur shortness or absence, fibula hypoplasia or aplasia. The clinical picture can lead to accelerating, walking power and functional limitations in the affected individuals. The exact cause of the syndrome is considered to be known, as the result of the interaction of genetic and environmental factors.
