Heyde's syndrome — Definition
Heyde sendromu / Heyde's syndrome
Heyde syndrome is a clinical condition characterized by gastrointestinal bleeding, which is observed together with qualitative aorpathy. This syndrome develops the result of a result of accidental shortage of the acquired von Willebrand factor (type 2A). Repetitive bleeding occurs in patients often caused by vascular malformations in the colon called anginadisplasia. The surgical replacement of the Aort cover allows the treatment of the syndrome by eliminating both the narrowness of the cover and the tendency of bleeding.
