Kiesselbach's plexus — Definition
Kiesselbach pleksusu / Kiesselbach's plexus
On the front-alt part of the nasal septum, located in the well-known area as Little region, is the vein network of several arteries (liquid anterior etmoidal, superior labial, sfenopalatin and large lulatin arteries). This area is the most frequent place of nasal bleeding (epistaksis) because there is a dense and superficial vascular structure under the mucosa. Most of the pre nasal bleedings, especially in children and young adults, are caused by this pleksustan.
