Lipozomal daunorubisin is a derivative of antrasiklin, which belongs to the ancient group of drugs. Due to the liposomal formulation of Daunorubinin, the toxic effect on the heart tissue of the drug is reduced, it is aimed to reach higher concentrations in tumor tissue. Mainly used in the treatment of hematological malignantities such as Kaposi sarcoma, acute myaloid leukemia and multipl myeloma. The drug stimulates cell death by inhibiting DNA reconstruction and blocking the enzyme topoizomerase II.
