This complex consisting of lower units with ATPaz activity is responsible for the recognition, dissolving and proteazom cavity of target proteins. Cellular stress provides controlled destruction of nuclear proteins in processes such as DNA damage or transcription editing. The deterioration of this mechanism is associated with pathologies such as cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.
