transient infantile hypertriglyceridemia and hepatosteatosis — Definition

Geçici infantil hipertrigliseridemi ve hepatosteatoz; it is a metabolic disorder characterized by pronounced rise in blood triglycerides levels and fat accumulation (hepatosteatoz) in the liver. It usually manifests itself in the first months of life, and in most cases it is self-flated. Although the underlying cause is not fully known, it can be associated with temporary failure of enzymes that play role in fat metabolism such as lipoprotein lipase or apolipoprotein C-II. The diagnosis is subject with high triglycerides levels and fate findings in liver ultrasound; the treatment usually contains supporting care and diet arrangement.
