Otozomal resesif is a rare genetic disease of the peripheral nervous system. The disease is characterized by a loss of sense in dystal limbs, a decrease in pain and temperature feeling. Type 2A form is caused by mutations in the WNK1 gene, and it usually gives an indication in early childhood.
