Marfanoid-progeroid-lipodistrofi syndrome is a rare genetic disease characterized by marfanoid appearance (long size, fine structure, joint hypermobility), progeroid properties (the symptoms of aging while) and lipodistrofi (normal distribution or loss of current oil). Often insulin resistance, dyslipidemia and metabolic abnormalities are observed in patients. Sendrom is associated with mutations in FBN1 gene and shows autosomal dominant inheritance.
