Wilson-Turner syndrome is a rare genetic disease, which shows a transition to resessive due to X chromosome. Basically, mental disability manifests itself with speech delay, obesity and characteristic facial appearance (hypertelorism, wide nose root). The disease is caused by mutations in the gene ZNF711 and occurs more often in male individuals. Clinical findings include mild to moderate learning strength, behavior problems and hand-foot anomalies.
