Luscan-Lumish syndrome is a rare genetic disorder, usually caused by mutations in the NFIX gene. This syndrome manifests itself with mental insufficiency, speech delay, characteristic facial characteristics (wide forehead, hypertelorism, low ears) and macrocephalus. Also accompanied by obesity, hypotonia and behavioral problems (choism-like properties). The clinical picture can be covered with other excessive growth syndrome, such as Sotos syndrome and Malan syndrome.
